Principal Data Analyst

• Maintain and extend our data model so that it meets our stakeholder needs in terms of scope and performance. You will be owning the entire data flow from ingestion into our data warehouse to semantic model.

• Engage with key stakeholders to understand the business vision, requirements and priorities to translate data into actionable insights.

• Refine, challenge and support requests from stakeholders and create or adopt reports accordingly.

• Develop and ensure reporting standards and guidelines throughout the company to enable business user to do basic reporting themselves.

• Explore and analyze raw data from our source systems to inform your choice of data model and detect anomalies.

• Help identify, define and specify future analysis and data points that arise from new features or business processes.

• Collaboration in a cross functional team with Data Engineers and Data Scientists.

Do you have experience in SQL?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Several years of professional experience as a BI / Data Analyst with expertise in creating reports with PowerBI or similar tools.

• Experience in data modelling.

• Git and proficiency in SQL - familiarity with ecommerce data is a plus.

• Highly passionate about data, with creative problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail.

• At least Bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject, e.g. computer science, physics, mathematics, engineering, economics is a huge plus.

• Very good English communication skills, German is a plus.
