Distributed Compute Engineer - Fixed Term Contract / High Performance Systems

We're hiring a number of Distributed Compute Engineers to lead the design and operation of advanced compute clusters powering next generation AI and quantum inspired workloads. This work supports model compression technology capable of reducing LLM size by up to 95 percent and lowering inference costs by 50 to 80 percent.

The team is supported by significant global backing and European initiatives and is building infrastructure that makes AI deployment faster, more efficient, and widely accessible., * Architect, build, and maintain distributed compute clusters across varied hardware

• Own hardware integration and support deployment workflows end to end
• Automate cluster operations including provisioning, monitoring, and upgrades
• Ensure performance, reliability, and security across all compute environments
• Mentor engineers in cluster management and systems integration
• Work closely with software and hardware teams to deliver cohesive solutions

• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
• Experience designing, deploying, or operating distributed compute clusters
• Strong understanding of computer architecture and hardware to software interaction
• Linux administration experience plus scripting skills in Python or Bash
• Ability to collaborate across engineering disciplines and adapt to new challenges
