Job description

BMS Project Engineer - Consultancy (NI Based, London Project Delivery 60-70%)

Client A rare opportunity to join a leading NI Smart Buildings specialist who are expanding their delivery team. This company has a strong reputation for delivering high-quality integrated BMS / Smart Building projects across the commercial built environment, with a major focus on hyperscale data centre projects in London. The role is although NI-based, will require approximately 60-70% of your time spent in London delivering large-scale BMS projects on hyperscale data centre sites., As a BMS Project Engineer you will take ownership of your own projects - predominantly London-based hyperscale data centres - while being based out of the Lisburn office. You will be responsible for:

  • Engineering, configuration and commissioning BMS systems
  • Running multiple live jobs simultaneously (small + medium projects)
  • Producing technical documentation (designs / RAMS / O&M)
  • Maintaining commercial control, variations, cost forecasting
  • Reporting progress to the Operations Manager
  • Working to all HSEQ standards and procedures
  • Providing technical support to internal teams and clients

Requirements

  • Essential - proven BMS experience on hyperscale data centre projects
  • Experience working with Tridium and/or Schneider BMS systems
  • Good understanding of HVAC controls and Smart Building integration
  • Previous experience delivering BMS projects (design * commissioning * handover)
  • Strong coordination skills - able to liaise with clients, FM teams and M&E contractors
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Willingness to travel to London on a regular basis (60-70%)
