Job description
As an IT Graduate, you will be working across all key disciplines within IT including Service Desk, End User Support, Training, Infrastructure, Applications Management and Support, before having the opportunity to focus on an IT discipline which interests you most and is closely aligned with your career aspirations.
One of the IT Managers will take on line management responsibility for you, providing guidance and acting as a key contact point as you move around the key disciplines within IT. You will be working with colleagues across IT and the rest of the organisation. This will involve liaising with and developing relationships across LiveWest, dealing with key suppliers, and working closely with colleagues across all IT functions., Working with colleagues across all areas of IT and with suppliers to identify and develop solutions to business and technical problems.
- Delivering support services to colleagues across all areas of LiveWest.
- Liaising with users, IT colleagues, suppliers, and stakeholders during incident and problem management.
- Taking ownership and responsibility for support tickets and work assigned to you, managing these effectively and seeking assistance from colleagues when required.
- Reporting and escalating issues when necessary.
- Undertaking system checks, maintenance and monitoring as required.

Requirements
Knowledge and familiarity of core Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Automate. * Basic proficiency in one programming or scripting language - e.g. SQL queries, Powershell, C++.
- A demonstrable understanding of computer networking and system integration.
- A demonstrable understanding of modern business applications and database technologies.
- Ability to build a rapport with a wide range of stakeholders and communicate technical information to a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- A customer focussed approach, ideally with previous service experience.
- A genuine active interest in technology and technical solutions.
- Able to take responsibility and want to gain hands-on experience.
- You will be curious, have a desire to learn and enjoy solving problems. Desirable: *
- An interest in the Housing sector.
- Recently graduated in an IT related subject with a grade of 2:2 or above. Desirable:
- Desirable subjects: Computer Science, Software Engineer, Business Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Networking, Cyber Security.
