Job description
The Suffolk County Council IT department provides technology support to our 6 directorates - Adult Social Care, Children and Young People Services, Corporate Services, Fire & Public Safety and Growth Highways and Infrastructure and Public Health and Communities. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals who would like to support the delivery of public services in Suffolk. Your role and responsibilities You will have excellent troubleshooting and problem analysis skills, be a strong communicator and possess a good knowledge of the ITIL best practice framework. As this is a technical support role, a solid background in supporting line of business applications and associated technologies in a Windows Server environment would be advantageous.

Lead on providing solutions to queries regarding Children and Young People Services applications and software.

Channelling requests for help to appropriate functions for resolution.

Experience working in an operational support role with line of business systems and databases.
