Full Stack Software Engineer (Hybrid)

Ocho are excited to be supporting a rapidly growing organisation seeking a proactive Full Stack Software Engineer to join their expanding technology team. Youll work across backend, web, and mobile applications, contributing to a modern platform during an exciting phase of growth. This role is perfect for an engineer who enjoys working across diverse tech stacks and solving complex problems.

What Youll Be Doing

• Shaping new features based on customer and internal feedback.
• Building and enhancing features across both web and mobile applications.
• Writing tests, fixing bugs, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
• Reviewing pull requests and contributing to code quality standards.
• Prioritising tasks effectively and delivering work on time.
• Demonstrating initiative, a proactive mindset, and a willingness to learn new tools and technologies.
• Building strong working relationships and contributing positively to team culture.
• Undertaking additional tasks as required by management.

• Minimum 4 years professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Professional experience using both Python and React.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with frameworks such as Flask, Django, SQLAlchemy, TanStack, or React Query is a plus.
• Must have the right to live and work in the UK.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline preferred but not essential.
• Bonus: Experience with AWS infrastructure.
