Job description

As a Document Controller, you will work within a dynamic and rapidly expanding business, focused on delivering critical infrastructure projects, across the utility and social infrastructure sectors.? Their team of Social Infrastructure specialists revitalise homes and communities by carrying out a wide range of work, from retrofit to refurbishment, and maintenance., Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for organisation and compliance? Due to expansion of the Social Infrastructure Design teamWe are looking for a Document Controller. The role will be based in Kent however travel to the head office in Warrington once a month will be expected.

As Document Controller, you will: Manage project documentation- organising, storing, and distributing documents efficiently. Administer the Document Management System (DMS)-setting up workflows, managing access, and ensuring data security. Ensure compliance-maintaining records to meet company, client, and regulatory standards. Support the project team-assisting with document formatting, templates, and best practices. Monitor version control-ensuring everyone works from the latest, most accurate documents. Enhance processes-identifying ways to improve efficiency and implement best practices.

Requirements

Experience: Previous experience in document control within construction, engineering, or similar industries. EDMS, SharePoint and Aconex, experience with these platforms is preferred but not mandatory. Technical Skills: Proficient in document management systems (Aconex, SharePoint, Asite) and MS Office. Organisation & Attention to Detail: Ability to manage multiple tasks with precision. Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to liaise with teams and troubleshoot document issues
