As part of the Risk Skill Development Programme, you'll spend 2-3 years building your career in banking, while contributing to the improvement of Nationwide's processes, products, and services.

This is your chance to contribute to high-impact work in Risk and Data Science. You'll gain first-hand experience of risk management by applying analytical thinking and logic to meaningful projects, ensuring we make the best decisions for our members. You'll also gain a deep understanding of the world of Risk and an appreciation for the mathematics and techniques that underpin it.

You'll build skills from development and training as you strive for high-performance, while building strong relationships to help us make banking - but fairer, more rewarding, and for the good of society., You'll join our high-performing Risk Data Science team, which plays a vital role in protecting the organisation and its members through innovative, data-driven solutions. The team applies advanced machine learning and AI techniques across a diverse range of risk domains, from strengthening controls in anti-money laundering and fraud detection, to supporting the safe and responsible adoption of GenAI, and contributing to wider initiatives in credit risk and regulatory compliance., At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. Requirements

Do you have experience in Python?, Your ability to build and maintain strong working relationships will be invaluable when collaborating with colleagues across different teams. Alongside your role, you'll follow a centralised development journey covering six modules of core business skills, giving you a strong foundation to grow in confidence and capability., We're looking for ambitious, purpose driven candidates who want to build a rewarding career in banking. You'll have a determination to push for better, and a focus on delivering for our 16 million members.
