Job description
Manage shared, published, and archived design documentation within a central repository (Viewpoint for Projects) working on multiple projects.
Tasks And Responsibilities
·Manage and maintain document control processes and procedures for all shared, published, and archived documentation in line with company processes and procedures.
·Follow established standards on document naming convention.
·Providing QA checks on all information, verifying documentation meets project standards and advising on any non-compliance whilst following rejection protocols.
·Reviewing and checking the master information delivery plan (MIDP) and task information delivery plan (TIDP) against information shared and published to Viewpoint for Projects.
·Ensure documents are being assigned to work packages.
·Implementing and maintaining document transmittals via Viewpoint for Projects.
·Maintaining project Common Data Environment (CDE), project file structure, virtual containers, and workflows.
·Support in transfer of published information in line with client requirements where appropriate.
·Capture 'Best Practice' and share with CDE user group.
·Effectively communicate with project stakeholders where required.Support all users of the project CDE in its application and use, providing guidance and training as appropriate.
Requirements
Relevant Experience
- Knowledge of Viewpoint for Projects - desired.
- Knowledge and understanding of BS EN ISO 19650 compliance is essential.
- Computer literate with a good knowledge of Office 365.
- Previous experience working as a Document Controller for a main building contractor/consultancy is essential.
