Job description
Will you become our new colleague? Systems & Security Engineer Function group Staff Barneveld 40 hours Sharing on LinkedIn, Systems & Security Engineer with in-depth knowledge of digital security, M365, and Azure to strengthen our IT team. As part of our dynamic Systems and Operations team (approximately 6 people), you will be responsible for providing second- and third-line support to our users and ensuring the operational stability of our current IT landscape. You will be involved in all phases of the implementation of new functionalities, from designing the solution to testing and implementation. You will work closely with various stakeholders, project managers, and your IT colleagues to ensure the successful implementation of new functionality. Through your efforts, we will contribute to efficient and effective business operations, further strengthening our position as a global market leader. As a Systems & Security Engineer, you are responsible for:
- Advanced management of Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive).
- Design and implementation of governance, lifecycle management, and compliance policies.
- Integration with Azure AD, Conditional Access, MFA, and Zero Trust.
- Management of Microsoft Defender for Office 365, DLP, eDiscovery, and Insider Risk Management.
- Automation of management processes
- Management of Windows and knowledge of Linux servers, Active Directory, and hybrid environments.
- Configuration and monitoring of network components (switches, routers, firewalls).
- Performing patch management, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Second and third-line troubleshooting.
- Enforcing security policies (ISO 27001, NEN 7510) and helping to develop standards.
- Performing and supervising risk analyses, penetration tests, and security audits.
- Managing incident response and coordination in the event of data breaches.
- Monitoring compliance (GDPR).
- Organizing security awareness training for employees.
- Managing penetration tests and drawing up improvement plans. Good working conditions What you get from us

Requirements
- Minimum HBO (higher professional education) level of work or a relevant field of study, such as Business Administration, Computer Science, or Industrial Engineering;
- Extensive experience in a similar position, with demonstrable expertise;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment and knowledge of business processes within the manufacturing industry and the impact of IT on these processes is a strong plus;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to understand and solve complex problems;
- With a broad IT background also able to assess the technical impact or our IT environment;
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Professional knowledge of both Dutch and English language;
