Job description

  • Provide administrative services to enable IT function to manage governance, performance monitoring, process management and improvement, compliance, cyber security.
  • Maintaining the IT governance framework, policies, service catalogue and decision-making processes as approved by IT Leadership.
  • Managing and administering the activities that ensures IT function maintains compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Ensuring IT operations, security protocols, and data handling practices adhere to all regulatory requirements. Manage audits and risk coordination. This includes Cybersecurity, ensuring all UK IT systems comply with regulatory and security standards, mitigating risks related to data protection and cyber threats.
  • Managing the creation of Service Reporting on key IT operational metrics. Providing transparent and actionable performance dashboards and reports. Supporting operational excellence by standardising, maturing, and continuously improving core IT processes, including demand management, capacity planning, project delivery methodologies, and incident/change management.
  • Processes exist and are adopted for IT to maintain processes, ways of working, operating model including templates.
  • Processes exist and are adopted for IT to maintain service definitions in a service catalogue used to perform regular service reviews.

Requirements

  • Experience in managing organisations compliance requirements potentially in a regulated industry including Data, Information and Cyber Security compliance requirements.
  • Track record of delivering to regular scheduled timescales and to quality standards
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills
  • Experience in Managing an IT Change Management process ideally ITIL
