Job description
Cyber Security Business Analyst - Reading/hybrid - 6 months - £432 - 454 - umbrella
The Cyber Security Business Analyst will be responsible for investigating and analysing business situations, elaborating and defining clear business and functional requirements, related deliverables and ensuring traceability of requirements through design, development, testing and delivery, within Incident and Vulnerability Management projects to ensure business outcomes are articulated and understood.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
- The focus of the role will be on Cyber Project Delivery, with the strategy for the assigned project being set through the definition of the business analysis approach. It will be ensured that all BA output for the project is fit-for-purpose, represents value for money, and is delivered on time. Involvement will be in technically oriented projects that enable the organisation to meet its regulatory obligations.
- Business outcomes will be ensured through effective requirements management using BA best practice techniques and tools.
- Business Analysis deliverables on large and non-complex Cyber projects will be completed, with comprehensive and accurate documentation being produced.
- Agreement between the business customer and solution provider on requirements, including traceability management across the full project life cycle, will be established and maintained.
Experience
- 5-7 years of Business Analysis experience within an enterprise level environment
- Provide coaching and advisory services in the planning, development and execution of an IT Change Management Framework
- Leverage existing data mining tools and security monitoring tools to collect, search, sort, and organize large amounts of information
- Identifying and recording risks, issues, dependencies and assumptions in accordance with project standards
- Career experience working in Software and/or Mobile industries managing commercial software releases
- Ideal candidate will have experience developing and maturing a product over several releases
- Experience leading and driving builds with aggressive timelines and dynamic process flows
- Advanced MS Office Suite and programs to include Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, InfoPath, SharePoint
- Knowledge of security best practices and principles, including experience with segregation of duties Act as SPOC for business
