Job description
The Technology Director will be responsible for leading the organisations technology strategy, architecture and operations, ensuring systems enable growth, efficiency and strong financial governance. This role will be responsible for helping own the delivery, optimisation and long-term roadmap of Microsoft Business Central as their business platform., 1. Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and deliver a technology strategy that supports business objectives and future scalability
- Define the enterprise architecture and ensure systems and data align to a coherent roadmap
- Leadership of the technology team, creating high-performance standards and a strong service culture
- Act as a senior advisor to the executive team on digital and modernisation initiatives
- Microsoft Business Central
- Ensure the BC platform is stable, well governed and able to scale
- Lead continuous improvement
- Manage partners to deliver value and quality
- Ensure strong change control, documentation and user adoption
- Technology Operations & Infrastructure
- Oversee secure, resilient and cost-efficient IT operations across networks, telephony, cloud and devices
- Own cyber security, risk management and compliance
- Ensure reliable service delivery with clear SLAs, incident management and escalation processes
- Enable the business to use data for decision making and operational control
- Projects & Change Delivery
- Lead the technology project portfolio
- Drive digital transformation initiatives, automation and workflow optimisation
- Partner across Finance, Operations, Sales and People to embed process improvements
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technology Director, IT Director, CTO or equivalent senior leadership role
- Strong leadership presence - building high performing teams and the ability to set standards and lead accountability
- Commercially aware: the ability to align technology decisions to cost and ROI
- Dynamics BC experience would be preferred and highly advantageous
- Strong vendor and stakeholder management skills
- Clear communicator who can translate complexity into business impact
- Detail orientated with a commitment to a high level of data integrity and accuracy
