Job description
The IT Technician will be based at customer premises, 5 days per week. The primary contact for all their IT needs, their trusted technical partner. You'll also form part of a small team providing support service to a number of other schools in the area and be required to work closely and support your colleagues located in these other schools., * You'll be your assigned customers central point of contact, their trusted technical partner
- Creating and maintaining strong relationships with staff at all levels within our customers organisation
- Be the lead contact for other onsite IT school support
- Resolve all IT issues in an efficient and timely manner
- Continuously develop skills, expertise and understanding in any required areas that would improve delivery of support and management or administration of systems, software or services
- Hands on to resolve hardware issues with Desktops, Laptops, Peripherals and Printers to minimise disruption to end users
- Network administration/troubleshooting
- Able to implement and manage the school's Safeguarding policies and procedures on their chosen platform
- Manages and maintains the school's cyber security systems
- Assist with the management and administration of Servers, Desktops, Laptops, Telephony Services and Network Infrastructure as or when required
- Point of escalation for your assigned customer, resolving any problems swiftly and effectively.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Software troubleshooting?, You have excellent technical and communication skills, a can-do attitude, a natural with customers and committed to delivering an outstanding service. Proficient with Windows, Google Workspace, Apple, Networking, Safeguarding tools and a wide range of other technologies typically found in an Education environment (up to 3rd line services.) A bonus if you have worked in a school/education setting before!, * Hands-on experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
