Requirements

We are looking for a Technical Service Engineer Practitioner (Senior) to join one of our 3rd line infrastructure engineering teams. Your role will involve working within a very dynamic operations team who support Linux, storage, virtualisation and backup environments. The role requires a self-motivated person, with strong inter-personal skills, who can communicate effectively with people at all levels. This team is working with a long-standing client who is in embarking on a major technical refresh.

Your Transferable Skills and Experience

Essential Skills

  • Extensive experience supporting Linux or Unix

  • Proven record of leading Major Incident/Problem/Change Management

  • Proven ability as an SME in a range of systems

  • Experience of working within medium/large sized project transitions

  • Experience in managing relationships with key internal and external technical stakeholders
