Job description

MARI is seeking a Senior Designer, Creative Solutions - a visual storyteller who can translate bold ideas into powerful narratives and campaigns that help brands see the full potential of partnership.

Sitting at the intersection of design, strategy, and commerce, you'll lead the creative development of concepts and collateral that bring our world-class events to life for brands and audiences alike. From high-impact sales decks and sizzle reels to environmental graphics and pitch experiences, you'll help position MARI as the most creative and commercially compelling partner in sport and entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Leadership

  • Lead the design and visual narrative for presentations, sales collateral, campaign toolkits, sizzle reels, and experiential materials that showcase MARI's event portfolio.
  • Develop integrated sponsorship and brand campaign concepts that inspire clients and drive incremental revenue.
  • Elevate and evolve the MARI Events visual identity across all touchpoints, ensuring consistency and excellence in design execution.

Collaboration & Delivery

  • Work closely with internal stakeholders across Sales, Partnerships, and Marketing to interpret briefs, challenge thinking, and deliver creative work that exceeds expectations.
  • Partner with global teams to support high-profile RFPs, renewals, and go-to-market proposals.
  • Manage multiple design projects end-to-end, balancing creativity with business impact and timely delivery.

Mentorship & Process

  • Mentor and collaborate with the Junior Designer, providing constructive feedback and creative direction.
  • Contribute to the refinement of workflows, templates, and tools to enhance the efficiency and quality of creative output.
  • Actively share inspiration, trends, and creative best practices that raise the overall standard of work.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support the broader Marketing & Creative team as needed with design for internal campaigns, event activations, and special projects.

  • The Creative Solutions team is seen as a trusted, strategic partner to Sales and Partnerships.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a design or creative solutions role, ideally within an agency, rights-holder, or entertainment/sports marketing environment.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across branding, campaign design, digital, experiential, and presentation storytelling.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects/Premiere), with working knowledge of Keynote and PowerPoint.
  • Deep understanding of both traditional and interactive media - from print and OOH to motion, UX, and social content.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, typographic craft, and design sensibility.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high creative standards.
  • A genuine interest in sport, entertainment, fashion, and culture.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Benefits & conditions

  • Permanent, full-time role based at MARI's Chiswick Park offices, London.
  • Standard working hours are 9:00-17:00, Monday to Friday.
  • Occasional travel, event attendance, or out-of-hours work may be required in line with project needs.
