Job description
We have a fantastic opportunity for an IT Engineer who has a passion for technology to join our IT team in Hindley Green, Wigan. As our IT Engineer you will provide advanced technical support for users of the Product Care Groups IT systems. The successful IT Support Engineer will need to be friendly and approachable with, excellent time management and prioritisation skills., * Monitor, maintain, and support all PCG hardware, software and peripherals
- Resolve IT related faults, as part of the IT team
- Lead and contribute towards IT Departmental projects
- Support systems on all Product Care Group Sites, by a mix of on-site and remote working, plus occasional visits to remote company locations
- Be involved in Decision-Making around IT Procurement and Budgets.
Requirements
Do you have experience in macOS?, Do you have a GCSE?, * GCSE's - 5 (English and Maths A-C grade included)

Relevant IT qualification

And/Or IT Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA, AWS

Experience Supporting IT Users in a professional environment

Experience working on IT Related Projects

Strong understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration

Knowledge of LAN, WAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP

Microsoft Windows 10 & 11

Have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Microsoft Windows Server management

Friendly & approachable

Works well in a Team and Independently

Highly organised with ability to multi-task The following skills / knowledge are also desirable;

MacOS knowledge

Mobile device support iOS and Android

Experience in Access Control and CCTV Systems
