Architecture & Design
-
Lead the end-to-end design of Fedrok's Layer-1 blockchain platform (EVM-compatible, Proof-of-Green consensus).
-
Define and oversee dual-token architecture (FDK utility token & FDK-Carbon Credit token).

Ensure scalability, throughput, and security meet enterprise and regulatory standards.
Development Leadership
-
Drive the design of core modules: consensus, smart contract engine, cross-chain interoperability, carbon credit tokenization, and registry integration.

Provide technical oversight to engineering teams (in-house + external contributors).
-
Establish coding standards, security best practices, and quality assurance processes.
Compliance & Security

Integrate Swiss/EU regulatory requirements (FINMA guidance, ISO 14064-1 MRV alignment, KYC/AML frameworks).

Build tamper-proof registries for carbon credits with auditable transparency.

Anticipate and mitigate security threats (e.g., Sybil attacks, MEV, consensus vulnerabilities).
Innovation & Ecosystem

Design SDKs and APIs for developers, partners, and ESG auditors.

Contribute to patents and IP filings (e.g., tokenized offsets, blue-carbon bonds, CO -to-graphene innovations).

Mentor and grow internal blockchain engineering capability.
Requirements
Exceptional Technical Depth
-
Experience in distributed systems/blockchain and in architecture roles.
-
Deep expertise in EVM chains (Ethereum, Polygon, Avalanche, etc.), consensus design, sharding, and zero-knowledge systems.

Experience delivering of Layer-1 or Layer-2 protocols at scale.
-
Advanced knowledge of token economics, smart contracts, DeFi protocols, and carbon market tokenization.
Programming Mastery

Experience with e.g. Solidity, Rust, Go, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python.

Experience with SDK development, cryptography, and security protocols (TLS, MPC, ZK-SNARKs).
Domain Knowledge

Optional: familiarity with climate finance, carbon credit markets, and MRV frameworks (ISO, IPCC).

Optional: experience aligning blockchain with regulatory compliance (FINMA, EU ETS, Article 6 of Paris Agreement).

Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in a fast-moving start-up environment., PhD/Master's in Computer Science, Cryptography, Distributed Systems, or related fields. Experience with green finance, sustainability projects, or environmental data MRV. Track record of IP creation and patents in blockchain or related fields.
