Job description

The post holder will be responsible for highly complex strategic and innovative solutions with the ability to present and articulate technical executions clearly and concisely to internal and external stakeholders. As Principal Developer the post holder will have significant authority and autonomy to ensure service delivery and quality standards are maintained within the specialist innovative technical development management unit. The post holder will be expected to contribute to the compilation of the business plan requiring development of innovative solutions that will support the trust's Digital Clinical Strategy. Requirements

  • Expert knowledge of .Net, C#, WebAPI, Rest
  • Expert knowledge developing Microservices/Modular Monolith Applications using Modern design patterns and techniques
  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server
  • Expert knowledge writing comprehensive unit tests
  • Knowledge of consuming and modifying CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with APIs of varying types and integrating with 3rd parties
  • Experience of migrating legacy applications
  • Capable of teaching/mentoring/pair-programming with other members of the team Knowledge and experience of the following technologies is desirable:
  • Microsoft Azure - Experience of Azure Serverless technologies/Docker
  • Experience of working in a Continuous Delivery or Deployment environment
  • Experience of developing any backend API frameworks
