What you will be doing
This is an exciting time to join Breathe. Having proven the value of our products in both the automotive and consumer electronics spaces, we are scaling our Battery Application team where you will become a technical lead working directly with customers.
Your day to day
- Responsible for assessing battery performance using data and simulation and deriving pathways to ensure project delivery
- Supporting sales team in technical scoping and pre-sale client engagement, demonstrating technical credibility
- Gathering performance and integration requirements in commercial projects
- Engage with clients to evaluate and meet performance and integration requirements
- Generating high-quality technical documents for both external reporting and continuous development of our internal knowledge base
Requirements

- Understanding of battery systems, from cell electrochemistry and degradation to scaling to modules and packs
- Experience of Python for data analysis
- Experience with battery management systems is a plus, but not essential
- Experience with MATLAB/Simulink is a plus but not essential
- Ability to collaborate with other departments in a kind and conscientious manner
