Job description
From Morgan Philips, we are looking for a SAP SD Consultant for a Consumer Goods Multinational Company located in Madrid.
Responsabilities:
- Conduct and lead the execution of the project activities in the area of SD / PS during the different project phases (Fit-Gap Analysis, Build, Testing, Training, Data Migration, Roles and Authorizations, Go-live activities, Hypercare, Transition to Operations...).
- Prepare functional designs for the accepted gaps in SD / PS module. Validate and approve them in case they are prepared by external resources assigned to the project.
- Coordinate and ensure with the rest of the SAP team that the SD / PS solutions are consistent with the other SAP modules.
- Coordinate and ensure with other IT teams that the SD / PS solutions are end-to end consistent from a business process point of view as well as from a systems integration point of view.
- Align with the respective Application Managers in the IT Delivery Hub the validation of the project change requests.
- Manage the tasks and deliverables of external resources assigned to the area of SD / PS during the project.
Key requirements
- Degree in IT, engineering or comparable qualification
- Maximum 2-3 years of experience as Senior SAP SD consultant
- Deep functional knowledge of SAP SD
- Technical knowledge:
- Basic ABAP skills to understand and communicate with developers.
- Capacity to understand and analyse OSS Notes related to SD
- Knowledge of SD data model, tables and user-exits
- Knowledge of EDI and middleware technologies. Experience in designing interfaces with other systems
- Experience in SAP Lifecycle management and template governance
- Fluent spoken and written English.
