Data Scientist Lead

Our client is a fast-growing, global technology company on a mission to elevate mobile app monetization. With hubs in Spain, Poland, and the United States and a distributed team worldwide, they champion diversity, collaboration, and innovation. They are expanding in Barcelona and seeking a seasoned Lead Data Scientist to set the vision, scale impact, and guide a high-performing data science team in ad-tech. Define and drive the team's data science roadmap aligned with revenue optimization and ad-tech objectives. Lead & mentor: Grow, coach, and support data scientists, fostering a collaborative, curious, and high-standard culture. Oversee design and deployment of robust models for targeting, bid strategy, and performance analytics. Ensure data flows and model lifecycles are efficient, reliable, and adaptable to evolving requirements. Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related disciplines). Experience: 5+ years in, data science within

product-centric contexts, 2+ years leading teams; Analytics & ML: Strong command of statistical techniques and machine learning, with a track record of extracting actionable insights from complex datasets. Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL. Data frameworks: Hands-on with PySpark and Pandas for large-scale data manipulation. Cloud: Comfortable with cloud services (e.g., AWS or equivalent). Experience training DNNs with modern libraries and tooling (e.g., PyTorch, Hydra, Comet).
