Job description
We are seeking a GCP Infrastructure Consultant with deep expertise in Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to perform a comprehensive review of an existing GKE environment. The consultant will assess current architecture, security posture, networking, operations, automation, and cost optimization, and deliver actionable recommendations for improvement., * Review and assess the client's current GKE cluster architecture
- Evaluate tenancy model, networking, and connectivity design
- Conduct security, governance, and compliance checks
- Review operations, monitoring, and observability
- Analyse automation, IaC, and CI/CD pipelines
- Conduct cost and billing optimization review
- Review testing approach and provide best-practice recommendations
- Produce a clear findings report with improvement roadmap
Requirements
- Strong hands-on expertise with GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine)
- GCP Infrastructure architecture & design
- Kubernetes cluster configuration, scaling, and security
- VPC networking, interconnect, service mesh, and ingress/egress patterns
- IAM, workload identity, policies, and governance
- Monitoring/observability (Cloud Ops, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
- CI/CD & automation (Terraform, Cloud Build, GitOps, etc.)
- Cost optimization in GCP
- Strong documentation and assessment skills
