Job description
We're recruiting for a UX Designer to join our Tesco Insurance and Money Services Design Team. As a UX Designer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality design work across digital products and services. You'll collaborate closely with other designers, engineers, and product managers to create intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences. Plus, you'll focus on day-to-day design execution, prototyping, and user interface development., * Interaction Design work
- Create simple, usable, and delightful interfaces that follow platform conventions.
- Inclusive Design. Apply accessibility standards and test implementations to ensure inclusive experiences.
- Visual Design. Work within design systems and brand guidelines to produce developer-ready mock-ups.
- User Research. Support research activities and analyse data to understand user needs and behaviours.
- Prototyping. Build and test prototypes at appropriate fidelity to communicate design intent.
- Stakeholder Collaboration. Work with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and iterate on designs.
- Design Execution. Translate requirements into effective design solutions that meet business and user goals.
- Customer Experience Implementation. Contribute to testing and refining customer experience initiatives.
Requirements
- Ability to deliver UX design work across digital platforms.
- Degree or equivalent experience in UX Design, Interaction Design, or related field.
- Demonstrable Customer Focus: Uses feedback and data to improve designs and enhance user satisfaction.
- Shows effective planning, organisation and prioritisation of tasks to meet project timelines and goals.
- Collaborative approach - demonstrate you work effectively with team members and stakeholders to achieve shared objectives.
- Effective communication. Share ideas clearly and professionally in both verbal and written formats.
- Interpersonal Savvy. Ability to build rapport and maintain positive relationships across teams.

- Experience in leveraging AI-driven design tools and prompt-based workflows to create intuitive, user-centred experiences.
- Demonstrated ability to design compliant and user-friendly solutions within highly regulated sectors such as insurance or financial services.
