Job description

As a Project Engineer, you'll play a key technical role in scoping, implementing, and delivering IT infrastructure and cloud projects. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs, then deploy solutions that are secure, scalable, and aligned with best practice - all while representing an MSP that takes pride in delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end technical implementation across a variety of IT projects including migrations, deployments, upgrades, and new service rollouts.
  • Work with the Project Manager and technical teams to scope and design solutions.
  • Configure and deploy Microsoft 365, Azure services, servers, networking, and security technologies.
  • Lead on-site and remote project delivery for customer environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues during project execution.
  • Provide detailed documentation, handover notes, and post-project support where required.
  • Liaise with clients regularly to ensure a smooth technical experience throughout project phases.

Requirements

  • Strong background as a 3rd Line or Project Engineer in an MSP environment.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Windows Server, virtualisation (Hyper-V/VMware), and modern networking.
  • Ability to deliver projects such as Microsoft 365 migrations, server builds, cloud migrations, firewall deployments, and network upgrades.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence when working directly with customers.
  • Strong documentation, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (MCP, MCSA, AZ-104, MS-900, CCNA etc.) are desirable - and fully funded by the company.

Benefits & conditions

  • A truly people-first culture focused on wellbeing, recognition, and support.
  • Paid industry certifications and clear development pathways.
  • Exposure to a wide variety of modern technologies and complex projects.
  • Supportive leadership and opportunities to progress into senior engineering or architecture roles.
  • Competitive salary of £60,000 plus benefits.

If you're a passionate Project Engineer who wants to work in an environment that values people as much as technology, we'd love to hear from you.
