Job description
The Tribe Scrum Master plays a key role in driving Agile excellence within the organization. This role involves fostering a culture of collaboration, self-organization, and continuous improvement within the tribe.
The Tribe Scrum Master serves as a coach, facilitator, and mentor to Agile teams and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and the successful delivery of key initiatives within the Risk & Credits domain.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Coordination
Drive and coordinate end-to-end delivery of initiatives, ensuring development, testing, release, and aftercare processes run smoothly.
Identify and resolve impediments affecting delivery timelines and team productivity.
Provide progress reporting to relevant stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
Bring together relevant stakeholders to facilitate effective decision-making and solution alignment.
Agile Coaching & Facilitation
Coach teams and stakeholders in Agile methodologies, ensuring best practices are followed within the tribe.
Promote a culture of self-organization, autonomy, and shared accountability.
Lead by example to inspire Agile transformation beyond the immediate tribe.
Encourage continuous improvement through Agile ceremonies, retrospectives, and feedback loops.
Stakeholder Management & Conflict Resolution
Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to streamline communication and coordination.
Effectively manage complex conflicts of interest between stakeholders, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Maintain an overarching view of inter-tribe dependencies and proactively identify and resolve potential risks.
Continuous Improvement & Agile Governance
Contribute to the continuous enhancement of Agile methodologies within the organization.
Act as a thought leader in Agile transformation, influencing teams and leadership to adopt best practices.
Take on a leadership role within the Scrum Master Guild to foster knowledge-sharing and innovation.
Requirements
Language French Native, Dutch C1, English C1, Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or Engineering).
Experience
At least 10 years of relevant experience in Agile coaching, Scrum Master roles, or related IT project delivery.
Strong background in banking or financial services, particularly within the credits domain (preferred).
Certifications
Professional Scrum Master (PSM) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification is a plus.
Skills & Competences
Technical Skills
Deep understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
Expertise in Agile delivery management, reporting, and tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps).
Experience in managing large-scale Agile projects within an enterprise environment.
Soft Skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong problem-solving abilities and abilities to navigate complex organizational structures.
Ability to influence and drive Agile best practices across teams and leadership. Strong facilitation skills for Agile ceremonies, workshops, and coaching sessions.
