Virtualization and Security engineer expert

For our Client a mobile telco in Switzerland -Lausanne area- we are looking for a Virtualization and Security engineer, who defines the evolution for the virtualized environment hosting the core network and settles the security guidelines for the company's Telecommunication Network. • Operate and maintain the existing OpenStack deployments
• Troubleshoot and fix cloud related issues, open trouble tickets towards the vendor if needed and lead the investigation until the final solution implemented
• Track vendor's correction deliveries and CVE database
• Prepare presentations to share the outcome of the technical investigations
• Follow vendor's roadmap and define meaningful upgrade strategy together with the Core Element owners
• Select the future vendor of the Kubernetes environment based on the needs and requirements of the 5G SA Core Network Elements
• Define and design future Kubernetes environments for hosting the Salt's 5G SA Core Network Elements
• Work closely with the IT department
• Define the security guidelines for Core Network elements and lead the implementation
• Participate in designing the CI/CD solution for the Kubernetes based applications

• Degree in telecommunications or equivalent
• Expert in virtualization with at least seven years' experience
• Expert in security and CI/CD at least three years' experience
• In depth knowledge of architecture of Openstack and Kubernetes/Openshift
• Deep understanding of security protocols: TLS/StartTLS, IPSec, HTTPS
• Basic understanding of 3GPP protocols and Core Network architecture: Core network CS, PS and IMS domains e.g. SS7, MAP, GTP, Diameter, SIP/RTP/RTCP, HTTP2 etc.
• Very good knowledge on usage of security tools
• Experience at least with one CI/CD solution
• Experience with Nokia Cloud Solutions is a plus
• Good analytical and abstract thinking skills: Able to find innovative solutions to complex problems. Team worker. Willing to make a contribution and to make a difference. Does not give up until the issue is fixed.

• Very good presentation & communication.
• Easily approachable, friendly, & proactive in identifying areas for improvement
• Required languages : English. German or French are a plus
