Job description

  • Define and implement the IT strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee support across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, networking, VPN, and Windows/Linux server environments.
  • Ensure stable and secure operation of all IT systems and endpoints.
  • Maintain and improve server infrastructure, storage, and virtualization platforms (Proxmox).
  • Operate hybrid environments using Active Directory and Azure.
  • Manage Layer 2/3 networking, VPNs, and firewalls.
  • Strengthen cybersecurity and incident response processes.
  • Implement and maintain NIS2-aligned policies and controls.
  • Drive digitalization of enterprise systems (PLM, ERP, and related platforms).
  • Support integration and automation across engineering and production.
  • Deliver IT projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage IT procurement, assets, and inventory.
  • Regular travel to the UK is mandatory.

Requirements

  • A Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.

  • 5+ years of IT operations or systems administration experience.

  • Proven leadership or team management experience.

  • Strong knowledge of: Active Directory (on-prem & hybrid) Azure identity & cloud services 2/3 networking & VPNs Proxmox or similar virtualization platforms

  • Experience with NIS2 compliance.

  • Experience with digitalization projects (PLM/ERP preferred).

  • Fluent in English; structured and independent working style.

  • Motivated to work in a fast-paced engineering environment.
