Expert Data Engineering / ML Engineer

• You build LLM-based agents and tool-using workflows for data analysis, forecasting, and decision making
• You architect, implement, and optimise robust data and ML pipelines as well as RAG applications following MLOps best practices
• You collaborate closely with Data Science and Business Intelligence teams to deliver self-service BI, predictive analytics, and machine learning solutions and support data engineers in building ingestion pipelines and maintaining the platform
• You continuously improve the stability, performance, and automation of the data platform
• You actively contribute to the evolution of the AI, ML, and MLOps system and software architecture

• You have proven experience in developing, deploying, and operating scalable ML pipelines and AI solutions in production environments
• You bring a solid understanding of machine learning, Agentic AI/MCP, RAG and tool-using systems, as well as modern MLOps practices
• You have advanced Python programming skills and hands-on experience in ML, AI, or data engineering contexts
• You bring practical experience with cloud and data platforms, ideally AWS including SageMaker and Bedrock, as well as Snowflake, preferably Snowflake ML
• You are familiar with software engineering principles such as version control, CI/CD, and automated testing and bring a growth mindset with the ability to learn, adapt, and actively share knowledge
• You are fluent in English (German is a plus) and are available to join us in the office two days per week
