Job description
- Provide 2nd Level Support with a focus on routers and switches
- Configuration, replacement, decommissioning & upgrades of network devices
- Troubleshooting end-to-end connectivity (internal & external)
- Work within ITIL processes (incident, service request, change control) using tools like ServiceNow
- Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex infrastructure issues
- Create technical documentation and support automation initiatives
Requirements
Security Clearance: Germany SUG L2
Hands-on experience (3-6 years) in at least three of the following:
- Arista or Cisco switches/routers (Cisco 9000 Series, ACI)
- F5 Load Balancers
- Firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
- Cisco ASR VPN Routers
- SAP Router
Strong knowledge of:
- MPLS, MP-BGP, static routing
- VRF, VLAN, VXLAN
- VPC, MLAG
- HSRP, VRRP, VARP
- SNMP, Syslog
- ACI concepts (EPG, Contracts)
- SSL/TLS inspection
- VPN (IPSec, SSL-VPN, Site-to-Site)
