Job description

  • Provide 2nd Level Support with a focus on routers and switches
  • Configuration, replacement, decommissioning & upgrades of network devices
  • Troubleshooting end-to-end connectivity (internal & external)
  • Work within ITIL processes (incident, service request, change control) using tools like ServiceNow
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex infrastructure issues
  • Create technical documentation and support automation initiatives

Requirements

Security Clearance: Germany SUG L2

Hands-on experience (3-6 years) in at least three of the following:

  • Arista or Cisco switches/routers (Cisco 9000 Series, ACI)
  • F5 Load Balancers
  • Firewalls (Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Fortinet)
  • Cisco ASR VPN Routers
  • SAP Router

Strong knowledge of:

  • MPLS, MP-BGP, static routing
  • VRF, VLAN, VXLAN
  • VPC, MLAG
  • HSRP, VRRP, VARP
  • SNMP, Syslog
  • ACI concepts (EPG, Contracts)
  • SSL/TLS inspection
  • VPN (IPSec, SSL-VPN, Site-to-Site)
