Job description
- Partner closely with Engineering & Product leadership to understand their tech roadmap and build effective hiring strategies.
- Own full-lifecycle recruitment across Software Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, Data, Machine Learning, Product, and adjacent technical disciplines.
- Design and execute sourcing strategies for hard-to-find engineering talent across Europe.
- Assess technical capability through CV screening, competency questions, and liaising with hiring managers on technical evaluation frameworks.
- Manage and optimise the end-to-end hiring process, ensuring a smooth and transparent candidate journey.
- Build trusted relationships with both clients and candidates, becoming a true embedded extension of the team.
- Provide insights on market trends, salary benchmarks, talent availability, and competitive hiring conditions.
- Support process improvement across the client's wider talent function, advising on tooling, interview structure, and hiring best practices.
- Deliver data-driven reporting to track performance, pipeline health, and hiring velocity.
Requirements
- Proven experience hiring Software Engineers and technical talent in an in-house, RPO, or embedded environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering domains (e.g., backend, frontend, full-stack, DevOps, Cloud, Data, AI/ML, QA).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence technical leaders.
- A proactive networker with experience engaging engineering communities and talent pools.
- Commercial and strategic mindset, with experience supporting growth-focused tech organisations.
- Curiosity for new technologies, hiring tools, and sourcing methodologies.
- Strong analytical abilities with experience producing data-based insights and reporting.
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to independently manage multiple technical reqs.
- Comfortable driving process improvements and embedding structure within scaling teams.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in fast-paced tech environments.
