About the Company Universally Speaking (US) is a world-class partner to the games industry, ensuring that Indie and AAA titles are polished before release. Role Overview We are opening a studio in Madrid and looking for a linguistics QA (LQA) specialist. The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, day shift, starting 9:00 am. It is an on-site role at Alvento Business Park, Vía de los Poblados, 1-3, 28033 Madrid. What You Will Do * Play and test games to find linguistic bugs. * Check in-game text for accuracy, correctness, and cultural compliance. * Learn and follow the Universally Speaking LQA process and professional standards. * Write detailed bug reports using industry-standard bug databases. * Ensure bugs are fixed and implemented correctly. * Become an LQA expert across projects and specialise in targeted areas. * Create and execute test cases throughout the project lifecycle. * Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to support all game features. * Identify

Requirements * Expertise in Polish. * Proficiency in written and spoken English. * Passion for video games. * Team player, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines. * Pro-active, tenacious, enthusiastic. * Strong eye for detail and quality focus. * Computer literacy: Word, database handling, MS Office Suite. * Right to work in Spain - no sponsorship offered. Additional Skills (Nice to Have) * Experience in LQA, translation, or proofreading. * Experience with LQA testing tools (test case management, text editing tools). * Knowledge of CAT tools (e.g., MemoQ). * Knowledge of the video-game industry and trends. * Bachelor's degree or higher in linguistics (desirable but not essential).
