SAP MDG Consultant

As an SAP MDG Consultant, you'll help our clients create high-quality, governable, and trusted master data at scale. You'll design, configure, and optimise SAP MDG solutions that enable better business decisions and sustainable data governance, ensuring master data is a true asset rather than a liability., * Design and configure SAP MDG for key master data domains (e.g., Customer, Vendor, Material, Finance), ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry best practice.

• Work with client stakeholders to define master data standards, governance processes, approval workflows, and data models.
• Integrate SAP MDG with source and target systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and non-SAP systems).
• Conduct workshops to understand business rules, pain points, and governance needs, translating them into SAP MDG functionality.
• Support the build of data validation rules, user interfaces and workflows.
• Collaborate with the Syniti team to align MDG design with enterprise data migration, quality, or governance initiatives.
• Contribute to the growth of our MDG practice by enhancing methodologies, sharing knowledge, and supporting pre-sales when required.
• Use modern tools and approaches - potentially including automation and AI accelerators - to improve master data processes and reduce ongoing operational effort.

• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable, user-friendly governance solutions.
• Good understanding of SAP master data processes and structures across at least one major domain (customer, vendor, material, finance, etc.).
• Either:
• Some hands-on configuration experience with SAP MDG (on ECC or S/4HANA), such as rules, workflows and UIs, or;
• Deep experience of using MDG as subject matter expert/steward/key user/etc.
• Excellent communication skills for workshops, demos, and stakeholder management.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a structured, methodical approach.
• Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple client deliverables.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused consultancy environment.
