Job description

  • Creating user guides for end-users operating in emergency or continuity-of-service scenarios, including concrete use cases, offline procedures, data entry best practices, and clear alert messages. Manuals must be structured by business profile (e.g., dispatcher, crisis manager, GIS analyst).
  • Contributing to the documentation of the deployed system architecture from a functional and process perspective, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Disaster Recovery Protocols (DRPs), and high-level security guidelines.
  • Ensuring that each dataset is accompanied by a metadata file compliant with ISO 19115 / ISO 19139 and INSPIRE standards, validating completeness, quality, and alignment with usage policies, and coordinating with technical teams for metadata generation and publishing.

Requirements

Do you have experience in System architecture?, Skilled GIS Functional Analyst to gather business needs, formalize geospatial processes, and support critical system documentation. You will contribute to user guides for emergency and continuity scenarios, help define SOPs, DRPs, and security protocols from a functional perspective, and ensure metadata compliance with ISO 19115 / ISO 19139 and INSPIRE standards. Strong abilities in writing user stories, modeling workflows, leading co-design workshops, and communicating with non-technical stakeholders are essential., * Ability to gather business needs and formalize geospatial processes.

  • Ability to write User Stories, model workflows, and define business rules.
  • Experience conducting co-design workshops with operational services (e.g., dispatch, civil protection).
  • Pedagogical skills and ability to communicate clearly with non-technical profiles.
  • Proficiency in English or French is required., * Analytical, logical, structured, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong team spirit and collaborative approach.
  • Excellent problem solving.
