Job description
- Provide second-line support for business Invest applications.
- Coordinate production deployments, including creation of runbooks and end-to-end deployment follow-up.
- Manage monitoring and documentation life cycle for application environments and ensure proper H2O (Handover to Operations) processes.
- Maintain flexibility to work outside normal business hours, including on-call rotation.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the IT environment with guidance from the team.
- Deliver technical and functional support to users and supervise the application's technical and functional components.
- Orchestrate and manage application releases within the assigned perimeter.
- Create, maintain, and enrich the application documentation repository.
- Maintain and update standard operating procedures.
- Analyse, measure, and optimise the performance of technical and functional components to improve user experience.
- Facilitate technical integration of applications by leveraging existing products and services to reduce implementation time.
- Manage requests for functional enhancements and evolutions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Application Support Analyst with strong skills in OPS engineering, ITIL, Wintel/Unix/Linux environments, scripting (Python or Windows/Unix), Control-M, network components, and production operations. The role includes second-line support, release management, monitoring, documentation, and optimising application performance, requiring an Agile mindset, analytical thinking, and flexibility for on-call duties., * At least 8 years of overall professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an OPS Engineer deploying front-end applications.
- Experience working in a complex organisational environment.
- Management of production operations.
- Good business knowledge within the application's scope
- Ability to understand technical and complex architecture design documents.
- Strong knowledge of network components (firewalls, load balancers) and protocols (TCP, HTTP; TLS is a plus).
- Solid IT knowledge across Wintel and Unix/Linux environments.
- ITIL knowledge.
- Scripting experience in Unix and/or Windows, or proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python.
- Knowledge of Control-M.
- Understanding of IT and Cybersecurity principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Agile mindset and thinking.
- Fluency in English and French or Dutch., * Experience in the banking sector.
- Knowledge of infrastructure and application performance monitoring (preferred).
- Knowledge of Mainframe systems (preferred).
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, multi-cultural environment.
- Quick self-starter with a proactive attitude.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
