• Backend systems in Scala with a suite of Google Cloud Platform services

What Would Your Day-to-Day Look Like

• Design, build, and review code for the HTS Checkout web frontend
• Operate autonomously while collaborating with engineers and product managers to ensure high alignment
• Explore and implement engineering improvements to enhance the team and product
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product and other Hopper teams
• Participate in a culture with few meetings, emphasizing strong alignment and asynchronous decision making

• Senior-level experience and familiarity with React
• Strong ability to drive towards solutions in a thoughtful and creative manner
• Self-direction, iteration on solutions, and management of multiple contexts
• Experience dealing with ambiguity while building multiple features without compromising code quality
