Job description
They will hire the selected candidate as an internal, permanent employee based in Madrid to provide services to their global organization. We're looking for a IT Project Manager for their global operations in Madrid. He/she will join the CIO Technical Project Office, acting as a strategic connector between IT, technical teams, and business stakeholders. As a Project Manager, he/she will be responsible for coordinating strategic projects, ensuring alignment across technical domains, and establishing portfolio management standards. He/she will work closely with senior leadership, engineering, IT, and PMO teams to provide visibility, consistency, and execution across initiatives. And also will be responsible for leading and coordinating some projects within the portfolio. Translate strategic vision into actionable projects and oversee their execution. Align project methodologies, reporting, and governance with global PMO standards. Define and uphold project management standards across IT initiatives. Manage the IT project portfolio, including planning, prioritization, and resource allocation. Monitor progress, risks, and performance across projects. Deliver projects as part of the project delivery team. Provide tools, guidance, and support to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
More than 5 years of hands-on experience in Project Management or a similar role. Proven experience in project management within multinational environments. Knowledge of project governance frameworks and portfolio management tools. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills. ~ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.
Knowledge of MS Project, Planner, Dynamics 365, Jira, ServiceNow, and similar platforms. Knowledge of PMP, Prince2, and Agile Scrum methodologies. Understanding IT strategy, architecture, and application of lifecycle management. Global Mindset: Clear and concise communicator, both verbally and in writing. Eagerness to stay updated on networking trends and emerging technologies. Education and Training Bachelor's Degree or vocational training qualification: In information technology, telecommunications, or a related field. Certifications: Relevant certifications are a plus (PMP, Scrum Master…) Spanish: English: Excellent Business English required (it is their working language). Work permit: Otherwise, an EU/Spain work permit is required. Permanent Full Time, as an internal employee.
