Cloud Finops Specialist (Madrid - Hybrid)

We're looking for a Cloud FinOps Specialist for its global operations in Madrid. He/She will take ownership of cloud financial operations, ensuring efficient, transparent and sustainable scalation., @ Own Azure's FinOps strategy: cost visibility, allocation, and optimization.

@ Collaborate with engineering teams to design cost-efficient architectures and promote cloud cost awareness.

@ Partner with Finance to forecast cloud expenses, align budgets, and support reporting needs.

@ Implement and manage FinOps tools and dashboards.

@ Define and enforce governance policies.

@ Lead cloud cost reviews, anomaly detection, and savings initiatives.

@ Stay current with Azure pricing models, service updates, and best practices.

Working Experience & Tech Skills

@ Proven experience in FinOps or cloud cost management, ideally with Microsoft Azure.

@ Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, billing models, and optimization techniques.

@ Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

@ Experience with Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth, Cloudability or similar tools would be an asset.

@ Familiarity with SaaS metrics, unit economics, and cost-to-serve models (desirable).

@ Exposure to startup scaling challenges and rapid cloud growth (desirable).

Soft skills

@ Comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile startup environment.

@ Leadership capabilities.

@ Ability to work cross-functionally with different teams (engineering, finance).

@ International work experience working with international teams, @ Spanish: At least B2-C1.

@ English: At least B2-C1.
