Functional Consultant SAP S/4HANA - Finance (FI-GL, AP & Tax)

We are seeking a Functional Consultant in SAP Finance (FI) with expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), and Taxation to join our SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation program. The consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and delivering financial processes aligned with best practices and compliant with local/global tax regulations. The role also involves Business Process Reengineering (BPR) to ensure the adoption of optimized finance processes leveraging S/4HANA capabilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Act as subject matter expert for SAP FI (GL, AP, and Tax) within the project.

• Lead business process design workshops (BPR) to challenge and redesign finance processes for S/4HANA.

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in Finance and Tax.

• Configure SAP S/4HANA Finance modules including:

• General Ledger (FI-GL): Chart of accounts, parallel ledgers, financial closing.

• Accounts Payable (FI-AP): Vendor master data, invoice processing, payment runs, integration with Procurement (MM).

• Taxation: Indirect tax, VAT/GST, withholding tax, electronic tax reporting, integration with external tax engines if applicable.

• Support integration with related modules (MM, SD, CO, EPPM, Treasury).

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure compliance with local statutory requirements and corporate finance policies.

• Prepare and execute test scenarios (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover & go-live activities.

• Provide end-user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer.

• Contribute to key deliverables: blueprint documentation, functional specifications, test scripts, data migration design.

Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Consultant in SAP FI (GL, AP, Tax).

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance (Greenfield preferred).

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and tax compliance (VAT, withholding tax, electronic reporting).

• Experience in integration of Finance with Procurement (MM), Sales (SD), and Controlling (CO).

• Demonstrated experience in Business Process Reengineering (BPR) and process standardization.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Fluent in French & English (additional languages a plus).

• French citizenship

• Familiarity with Agile project methodologies and SAP activate
