Job description

As a Software Designer C++/Python/C#, you design system control software for high-tech products and machines. In this role, you support our customers in creating and integrating system control software for high-tech equipment in the semiconductor, analytical, and medical equipment industry, within the Brainport region and beyond. Your software expertise plays a vital role in bringing high-tech solutions to life, for different operating systems, including state machine modelling and real-time aspects.

As a Software Designer, you contribute to defining clear requirements and you are responsible for translating them into robust software designs, ensuring high-quality implementation and seamless integration.

From our office in Eindhoven, and occasionally at our clients' premises, you enjoy working on:

  • Translating requirements into innovative, clear, and feasible concepts during the different phases of projects.

  • Acting as a bridge between architects and engineers from a technical perspective.

  • Owning a module or sub-system throughout the entire software development cycle.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or ICT related education.
  • At least 7 years of experience in software development in the high-tech industries (e.g. Semiconductor, Analytical or Medical).
  • Experience in building software that includes data-driven and/or system dynamics and/or control solutions.
  • Proven experience in leading technical teams of 3-7 members.
  • Strong expertise in modern C++ and Python , with additional experience in other programming languages such as C#, across different operating systems, including state machine, real-time and/or high-performance aspects.
  • Solid background with various development methods and technologies (OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, DevOps, etc.)
  • Open to work flexible times and willingness to travel abroad.
