Job description
We are seeking a Data Strategy Lead with a "Player-Coach" mindset to guide a critical migration of the Trade Promotion Management (TPM) ecosystem (XTEL solution). After 7+ years of operation, the current landscape combines global standards with highly customised local reporting streams. Your mission: audit the data reality, challenge assumptions, and make tough decisions on centralisation versus localisation. Purpose: Define and implement the target analytics landscape for the new XTEL version, eliminating legacy technical debt while ensuring markets retain essential insights., * Migration Scope: Assess the 7-year legacy reporting landscape and decide what to migrate, standardise, or retire.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the final authority on D&A scope and drive adoption of standardisation decisions.
- Governance: Adapt enterprise data standards to TPM realities while ensuring compliance.
- Design & Delivery: Build a future-proof data foundation integrated with the corporate Data Lake/Warehouse.
- Technical Oversight: Validate data models and architecture (Azure), not just delegate.
- TPM Data Mastery: Understand XTEL data structures and flows to design effective integration and reporting layers.
Requirements
- 7+ years in Data & Analytics, including leading data workstreams in large-scale migrations.
- Expertise in Power BI and Azure; strong data warehousing knowledge.
- Understanding of Commercial/RGM/TPM processes.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity and balance global standards with local needs.
Preferred:
- Experience with XTEL or similar TPM solutions (Promax, Wipro, Salesforce TPM).
- FMCG/CPG industry background.
