Data Management Consultant(DAMA-DMBOK)

As Data management consultant in Albert Heijn you will ensure the proper data life cycle on our data platform. You know the different teams and stakeholders in the Data value chain from source applications to Data Science savvy consumers. You will connect these stakeholders on topics like data quality, data exchange, data definitions and access. You are a sparring partner for application development teams and you take part in shaping the data governance organization and capability throughout Albert Heijn.

You are not afraid to dive into the deep end and help further shape this developing team and capability. You are happy to speak your mind and are able to act like a change agent for expanding data governance principles throughout our organization. Your can-do mindset and confident attitude allows you to turn uncertain situations into new ways of working and processes.

Specifically, you:

• make sure that the quality of defined datasets is implemented and maintained
• are responsible for data policies and standards to become operational
• provide insights to data owners regarding the general goals of their data
• have substantive knowledge of the data objects and related business processes
• ensure proper training of employees and data management best practices

Your new team and office

Together with the Data Governance team, with our Global Data Governance Office and with the Data Governance teams in our other brands you will work on inspiring projects to accelerate our transition into a hybrid Food & Tech company. We want to leverage data and technology to future-proof food shopping and give our customers the accessibility to healthy food more easily available for everyone. • 3-5 years of work experience as for example a Data Steward, Data Quality officer
• Strong knowledge of current Data Management standards and practices
• Big bonus if you have experience with Data Governance transitions
• You enjoy teamwork and making things happen
