Job description
- Lead, mentor, and scale the EMEA Solutions Architecture team, setting technical standards, best practices, and a strong customer-first culture.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering leadership to drive successful outcomes across enterprise and commercial customers.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor to customers, engaging at all levels from C-suite stakeholders to architects, data engineers, and developers.
- Translate complex business and technical requirements into scalable, cloud-native solution designs, including architecture, migrations, workflows, and data visualisation.
- Guide and support high-impact proofs of concept (POCs) and reference architectures that accelerate adoption and expansion.
- Evangelise ClickHouse's vision, architecture, and value proposition across the EMEA market, including participation in executive briefings, events, and community initiatives.
- Drive regional initiatives that help customers transform raw data into actionable insights aligned with clear business outcomes.
- Provide feedback from the field to inform product strategy, roadmap priorities, and go-to-market execution.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Sales?, * Significant experience in Solutions Architecture, Sales Engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical leadership role, with prior people management experience.
- Strong background working with open-source software business models and cloud-first technologies.
- Hands-on experience designing and supporting scalable, highly available distributed systems.
- Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on technical engagement when needed.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to bridge business goals and technical solutions.
- Experience operating in fast-growing, high-change environments and building teams from early stages.
Bonus Points For
- Experience deploying applications or selling into environments with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Familiarity with database technologies, data modelling, and analytical workloads.
- Prior experience supporting multiple countries or regions within EMEA.

For roles based in the United States, the typical starting salary range for this position is listed above. In certain locations, such as Los Angeles, CA, the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, the Seattle, WA, Area, and the New York City Metro Area, a premium market range may apply, as listed.
