Introduction Our client is looking for a broadly experienced Infrastructure Engineer to develop and design Infrastructure and Networking solutions for their clients in the Ministry of Defence. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, ongoing support of critical IT infrastructure for organisational and customer environments. Defence experience is essential for this role. Working Patterns: Predominantly onsite in Cheltenham town centre Key responsibilities Designing and developing broad Infrastructure solutions for MOD clients Implement security tooling and best practices Planning, design, and implementation of IT infrastructure solutions (physical and virtual) Ensuring timely delivery of solutions, aligned to customer requirements Ongoing maintenance and support of deployed IT infrastructure Providing containerisation, automation, and cloud solutions. Timely troubleshooting and resolution of reported IT Infrastructure issues Regular system health monitoring and maintenance
