Job description
We've established a new Infrastructure Project Delivery team to drive transformation and scalability across our organisation. As the Infrastructure Operational Delivery Manager, you'll oversee the successful delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring strategic alignment, resource optimisation, and operational readiness. This is your opportunity to lead a high-performing team, manage third-party partners, and embed automation into delivery workflows for maximum efficiency.
What You Will Be Responsible For
- Lead and govern the delivery of infrastructure projects, ensuring quality, timeliness, and strategic alignment.
- Forecast resource demand, manage internal teams, and flex capacity through third-party partners.
- Own relationships with delivery partners, define engagement models, and provide governance across workstreams.
- Collaborate on infrastructure strategy, standards, and future roadmap with operational support teams.
- Ensure seamless handover of projects into BAU operations, including documentation, training, and compliance.
- Identify and implement automation opportunities across provisioning, monitoring, and ServiceNow workflows.
- Maintain financial oversight, ensuring accurate cross-charging and capitalisation of resources.
- Drive continuous improvement, maintain dashboards and KPIs, and support audit and compliance activities.
Additional Requirements Specific To The Role
- Strong understanding of infrastructure delivery, governance, and automation tools.
- Experience managing third-party partners and internal technical SMEs.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow and infrastructure provisioning processes.

- Proven experience in infrastructure project delivery and operational management.
- Strong leadership and resource planning skills.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Ability to embed automation and drive efficiency improvements.
Desirable
- Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure models and cloud technologies.
- Experience with financial oversight and capitalisation processes.
