Senior Software Engineer

What You'll Be Doing: As a Senior Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality, performant, and secure code while supporting the team and contributing to agile development practices.

• Writing high-quality, performant, secure, tested documented code
• Creating other technical content for AutoRek using our development stack
• Supports with review processes, suggesting improvements and addressing review issues, fixing bugs, and managing support issues
• Support the team to deliver tasks in a timely manner
• Using our scaled agile approach, working in sprints, and contributing to Product Increment Planning
• Presents progress against goals to the team
• Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders

• Languages: C#, TypeScript, JavaScript, T-SQL, Markdown, HTML+CSS/LESS, PowerShell, Python, YAML
• Frameworks: .Net, React
• Database: SQL Server
• Tools: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Notepad++, Git, SSMS
• Cloud: Azure, AWS
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions, Jenkins

• Proficient developing in our core languages: C# / TypeScript / T-SQL
• Broad coverage of software languages with particular areas of expertise in: React / .NET / SQL Server / Windows stack
• Experience with: GitHub / GitHub actions / key Azure services / key AWS services
• Able to research, collect, and organize information from various sources and transform into written material
• Confident with the core tools: Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, Notepad++, Git & SSMS
• Familiar with additional tooling for diagnosing and resolving challenging problems
• Strong understanding of maintaining code quality and security standards
• Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
