Parkside Recruitment are looking for a Technical Business Manager - M&E and Framework Specialist to cover all points of the South West of the M4 Corridor (Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Norfolk, Kent, East Sussex) My client is a leading provider in fixings and construction solutions. Job Objectives:
- Achieve sales and profit targets as set by SBU targets and KPIs for the defined area.
- Maintain and develop customer loyalty and support with both contractors and distributors., + Communicate with customers/potential customers through various channels such as in-person meetings, phone calls, site visits, demonstrations, and virtual interactions.
- Obtain and process orders in accordance with company policies.
- Drive new business by targeting non client related contractors within the M&E and Framework segment.
- Focus on core targeted products including FMS, CIC, FCID, Firestop, and fixings as per the company strategy.
- Collaborate with colleagues in sales negotiations for system and cross-selling opportunities.
- Support the Regional Engineer and CBM as needed.
- Serve as the primary contact for technical partners to develop sustainable ongoing business.
- Conduct CPD seminars and anchor testing at sites.
- Provide anchor application recommendations and deliver seminars/training for customers and contractors.
- Promote company online resources and the online ToolBox Training Portal.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and utilization of CRM and NexMart systems.
- Perform any other duties as reasonably expected.
Requirements

Educated to GCSE Standard.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Warehouse. Interpersonal Skills:

Commercial awareness with the ability to develop and secure new business while nurturing existing relationships.

Strong negotiating skills with tact and discretion.

Ability to give practical demonstrations of company products.

Self-motivated, reliable, persistent, well-organized, and able to work on own initiative. Experience:

Minimum three years of experience in a representative sales/site environment preferred.

Experience dealing with subcontractors and distributors.

Experience managing change in specifications.

Good understanding of market competitors with proven ability to utilize this information effectively.

Engineering background is beneficial.

Conversant with construction site procedures.

Knowledge of fixing applications at the site level (training provided if needed).
