Job description
Our well established award winning, steel fabricator client based in Hounslow are looking for two Design Engineer/Trainee Design Engineer to join their team. salary £28-£38K depending on experience, Monday to Friday 8-4pm. Design Engineer - Job Duties:
- Detailing steelwork in 3D using Tekla Structures software.
- Preparing drawings for fabrication purpose according to company's procedures.
- Project management.
- Liaising with Customers, Structural Engineers and Architects.
- Liaising with suppliers and ordering materials.
- Co-operation with other Departments.
- Answering incoming calls during the day. The Design Team builds relationships with customers and suppliers, achieve company targets by detailing projects in Tekla Structures and preparing drawings for fabrication.
Requirements
Background in Civil/Structural Engineering., Experience with Tekla Structures, or any other CAD Software and technical drawings.
