ICT Infrastructure Officer

Join our amazing ICT team as an Infrastructure Officer and play a vital role in keeping our ICT services running smoothly. We're seeking a practical individual to join our dynamic ICT team. This critical role helps deliver essential service activities in line with departmental standards, frameworks and best practice. As a member of the infrastructure team, you'll use your technical skills to manage, support and maintain the resilience of the Council's systems. Working closely with ICT colleagues, system owners and stakeholders, you'll support the ICT Infrastructure Lead in implementing, deploying, and maintaining critical systems.

Our ideal candidate will have an in depth knowledge of modern infrastructure concepts, protocols and standards, including EntraID, VMs & VNets, Azure (AAD), Azure Monitor and Sentinel. Hands on experience with Fortinet's tech stack would also be highly advantageous. You will contribute to technical system administration, development and procedural work, as well as support with day-to-day and project work. A strong technical professional with a knack for doing it all - plus strong communication and project management skills - is a perfect fit for this role.
