Job description

A well-established and highly respected UK property business is looking to appoint an IT Manager to take ownership of its internal technology environment during a period of continued growth and investment.

This is a visible, trusted role sitting close to the leadership team, with real influence over systems, suppliers, and how technology supports a modern, fast-moving property organisation.

The opportunity

You will be responsible for the smooth running, security, and evolution of the company's IT function. The business has a strong brand, a loyal customer base, and a growing portfolio, and now wants its technology to feel just as professional, joined-up, and future-ready.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on while also shaping strategy and improving how things work.

What you will be doing

  • Owning day-to-day IT operations across the business
  • Managing Microsoft 365, networks, devices, and core business systems
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all IT issues and improvements
  • Managing third-party IT suppliers and support partners
  • Leading cyber security, access control, and data protection best practice
  • Supporting new office openings, acquisitions, or system upgrades
  • Translating business needs into practical, reliable technology solutions
  • Advising senior stakeholders on IT risks, opportunities, and roadmap

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an IT Manager, IT Lead, or Senior IT Engineer role
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows environments, and cloud services
  • Experience managing suppliers or MSP relationships
  • Comfortable supporting both office-based and remote users
  • Confident communicator who can work with non-technical stakeholders
  • A practical mindset with a genuine interest in improving how a business operates

Property or professional services experience is helpful but not essential.

Benefits & conditions

Why this role stands out

  • Well-known, reputable property brand with a strong UK presence
  • Hybrid working with only 2 days per week onsite
  • A role with ownership and influence, not just ticket-based support
  • Stable business with clear growth plans
  • A supportive, collaborative culture that values good people

Package

  • £60,000 basic salary
  • Hybrid working model
  • Pension and benefits package
  • Long-term career progression within a growing organisation

If you are an IT professional who wants ownership, visibility, and a role where your work genuinely matters to the business, this is an excellent next step.
